Modern Title Letter of a son Neferkara to his father
Summary In this letter, a son speaks to his father. Neferkara, Ptah, Satis and Knum as well as Elephantine are mentioned. But the real issue of the letter is unfortunately not preserved. One column of the recto gives the name nfr-kA-ra written in a cartouche, the praenomen of Pepi II. The recto text comprise the remains of a letter. 47.218.157: Papyrus with name of Nfr-k’-r'. Removed from lot 47.218.18. Text, so-called 'Memphite formula' in form of letter addressed to Pepy II.
