Modern Title contract for transfer of income from administrative offices (original version of the document)
Summary Espmetis, son of Bochorinis, transfers to his daughter Seniah a third of each of the income of his offices as a scribe-of-the-chest and as a scribe-of-allotment. Persons acting against this contract should pay 5 kite from the "bank" Treasury-of-Ptah. The document was written by a Chnoum tempel schribe.

Translation

112th regnal year, Mesore, of Pharaoh LPH Dareios LPH. Thus has spoken the carrier-of-Ra (and) scribe-[of-the-chest] Espmetis, son of Bochorinis and his mother Rempnophris (I.), to the lady Seniah, daughter of Espmetis and her mother Rempnophris (II.):
2(I) have given to you the ⅓ of my percentage of the office of a scribe-of-the-chest (and) of the office of a scribe-[of allotment] scribe, which belongs (to me) from my father. It belongs (to you). Any man in the world will be able to exercise control over the ⅓ of my
3percentage of the office of a scribe-of-the-chest (and) of the office of a scribe-of-allotment, which belongs (to me) from my father, apart from you, whether father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, master, mistress (or) any man in the world, I myself likewise.
4The one who will come against you because of this ⅓ of the office of a scribe-of-the-chest (and) [of a scribe-of-allotment], which belongs to me from my father, to take it away from you, saying „It does not belong to you!‘ whether father, mother,
5brother, sister, son, daughter, master, mistress (or) any man in the world, I myself likewise, he shall give [to you] 5 [silver deben] from the treasury of Ptah, adequate, without citing ˹any˺ title deed in the world against you. Issued by
