2 | | يوخذ على بركة الله وعونه من الاخوين
رطل يسحق سحق جيد |
3 | | ويعمل عليه رطل صابون ويعمل في
قدر وتلبس |
4 | | بطين الحكمة وتودع نار دمس ليلته ثم
تخرج |
5 | | باكر تسحق ويضاف إليه رطل صابون كالاول |
6 | | وتعاد الى الزبل وتخرج باكر يضاف اليها رطل |
7 | | صابون متل الاول وتخرج ويوخد رطل بياض بيض |
8 | | ورطل عسل نحل ويخلط على بعضـه ويرمى فيـه وقيتين

9 | | نشادر ويعلق فى الشمس يومين ويمخط كل يوم تلت

10 | | وتطربه الزرنيخ المزبد وتجعله فى قنينة
مطيينة إلى حلقها |
11 | | وتعيد تحته نار فحم تم تعيد
بنار الحطب من الظهر الى العصر |
12 | | بعد سد فم
القارورة وتبيت على موضعها الى باكر تكسر |
13 | | يوخد
الذى فى حلقها وهو رصاص درهم منه على تنين وعسرين زهره |
14 | | نحاس
وبـالله اليقين
Translation

1 | | God is the bstower of every boon |
2 | | Let there be taken with God’s blessing and help a raṭl
of Dragon’s blood, let it be well pounded, |
3 | | and
let a raṭl of soap be put upon it, and let it be put in a pot which is to be
covered |
4 | | with chemist’s clay, and put upon a fire
of ashes all night, then it should be taken out |
5 | | in the morning and ponded, and a raṭl of soap be added as before |
6 | | And returned to the dung, taken out next morning and
have a raṭl |
7 | | of Soap added as before, taken out
and a ratl of white of egg |
8 | | and a raṭl of honey
be taken, and mixed with some of it, then two uqiyah |
9 | | of sal ammoniac should be thrown in, it should be
suspended in the sun for two days, and be purified three times daily |
10 | | Then overlaid with butter of arsenic, and put in a
flask daubed with clay up to the neck, |
11 | | Then
charcoal fire should be rekindled under it, then fresh fire of wood from noon to
afternoon |
12 | | After closing the mouth of the flask,
which should remain in its place through the night till morning, then it should
be broken |
13 | | and what is in the neck be taken.
This will be lead, One drachm of it (should be projected upon) twenty-two of
copper |
14 | | And with God is the certainty
