Modern Title Oracle Papyrus
Summary Concerned with oracles. Four columns of text comprising three memoranda concerning of judicial oracular judgments by Khonsu in favor of one Ikeni. A fourth memorandum concerns certain payments by the same man.

Translation

1 Account of the money which Ikeni paid in exchange for the 1/2/1/8 (aroura) of field which he bought
2 from the Outline-draftsman Mehefpenebi. Detail of paying their money (in) year 49, the bad time
3 one oipe of emmer (equalling) a loin-cloth:
4 Came and was paid to the Wab-priest and Outline-draftsman Mehefpenebi.Its detail: barley as barley, two oipe, making emmer, three oipe.
5 Came and was paid to him: thy-cloth, one loin-cloth. Total amounting to four pieces of rwd-cloth.
6 Came and was paid to the Wab-priest Harsetitef in exchange for the 1/2/1/8 (aurora) of field which Ikeni bought from him
7 (in) year 49, the bad time. Detail of paying its money (to) the Wab-priest Harsetitef: emmer, two oipe;
8 fine southern linen, two rwdj-cloths. Total, amounting to four pieces of rwdj-cloth.
9 Account of the mone which (Ikeni) paid (in) exchange for the 1/2/1/8 (aurora) (of field) which is by the well of Ikeni which (he) paid
1 [Year] 4, second month of Shomu, day 8; day of going before Khonsu by the Boatman Pe-
2 smentawy, together with the God's father Anan son of Harsetitef (and) the God's Father
3 Hemenseonkh son of Harsetitef, total two (persons), about payment for the 1/2 1/8 (aroura) of field
4 which is by the well of Ikeni. The God's Father Anan and his brother Hemenseonkh said:
5 "Verily, their father has not received (any) money
6 (of) Ikeni". The Boatman Pesmentawy said: "Verily,
7 Harsetitef received two oipe of emmer - one oipe (equalling) a loin-cloth - in year 49.
8 The Scribe (also)received two loin-cloths; total, four". They made two written claims and they placed them before
9 Khonsu-in-Thebes and he said: "Right is Ikeni! He did give the two oipe and the two rwdj-cloths,
10total four, to Harsetitef. "Right" before many numerous witnesses. The list:
11the Weaver, Maapermeh; the Scribe, Pesherinesi son of Senu; the Scribe, Pasherinesi son of Shedharniutef;
12 the Wab-priest, Khaemwaset.
1the Scribe Pasheri[nesi son of] Shedhorniutef; the Scribe Hory son of the same.
2They disputed again today about payment for the sections of
3field of citizeness Ipip, which Paneferher son of Harsi-
4esi, her male kinsman, sold to Ikeni. They went
5before Hemen of Hefat and Hemen said to the two written claims: "Right is
6Ikeni! He paid her money to Paneferher (in) the (bad) time.
7It is closed." So Hemen said before all the witnesses.
