Summary of Content | End of a document of wifehood for Salluah daughter Jehohen. This document parallels TAD B.3.8 in form and was written by the same writer. The mother is giving away and making a contract for her daughter. Presumably, the father of the bride is gone, and the woman has the right to run the estate (including its people). Unique to this document are the theophoric names among the witnesses. The names display Aramean, Judean, and Egyptian elements. |
Location of Composition | Elephantine Upper Egypt, 1st nome Egypt (Certainty: unknown) |
Comments on Text | The witnesses may have been written in the Mauziah's hand, but remains uncertain. |
