1 Porten appears to overlook the writing on the verso in his first edition, in which he assumes the document was folded top to bottom rather than the typical practice of folding from bottom to top (“Aramaic Papyrus Fragments in the Egyptian Museum of West Berlin,” 21). The visible docket on the verso invalidates his claim. 2 The name is not נתנ. |
