Summary of Content | Marriage contract between Herakleides, a free Temnian, and Demetria, a free woman of Kos, daughter of Leptines und the mother Philotis, also from Kos, who brings a dowry consisting of clothing and jewelry worth 1000 drachmas. Further legal arrangements for ill behavior on both sides and sanctions are set out. The contract is signed and sealed by 6 witnesses. |
