Summary of Content | contract concerning the payment of tropheia, interpreted as mariage contract, contract with a concubine or as a release of a slave. The Syrian woman named Elaphion pays an amount of money to Antipatros, a Greek man probably of military context, as tropheia; with witnesses and seals. Almost the same contract was made out by Elaphion some 7 months earlier to Pantarkes: = P.Eleph. 4. |
