Summary of Content | Report on the building of the new temple for Satet on Elephantine in the time of Ptolemaios II (Vittmann: Ptolemaios VI). Also mentioned is the dismantle of the old temple and the invasion of "the Mede" shortly before, which must be in one interpretation the Seleukide king Antichos IV. Epiphanes, while Quack has presented strong arguments for an identification with Artaxerses III of the 31st dynasty. |
