Asklepiades to Philon, the bailiff for the judges in the Panopolite nome and the allotted
places, greetings. You have written to us, to take the copy of a petition to the king submitted
by Isias, to give it to the acccused Esoroeris and Tagos, and summon them
to be present at court in five days with the
legal documents related to the proceedings. And how we managed the summonses,
to Tagos in person, but to Esoroeris, being away from home, through the phylakites Eponychos, would be too long
to report.
Farewell
Year 34, Choiak 5.
