Comments on Text According to Margoliouth, the only letter pointed is the “qaf” of “qut” in line 5, the phrase “al-qarīr al- ʿain” seems to be euphemistic for “deceased”, if it were a proper name; the first article would probably be omitted, and he also mentioned that the domestic arrangement to be inferred from this receipt can easily be reconstructed.

2 عندي وقبلي لمولانا اخي ابن الحسن علي بن هبة الله
3بن علي بن هبة الله اخلد الله عزه تسعة عشر درهما
4ونصف درهم النصف من تلك تسعة دراهم ونصف
5وربع درهم لقوت اهلك هي بنت القرير العين العلوي
6وكتب هبة الله بن عبد العزيز بخطه اليوم السابع
7والعشرين ذى القعدة ثلث وعشرين وخمسمائة
1In the name of God the Merciful, the Compassionate
2With me and in my possession belonging to my master and brother Ibn al-Ḥasan ʿAlī b. Hibatallāh
3b. ʿAlī b. Hibatallāh whose might God perpetuate, are nineteen dirhams
4and half a dirham, whereof the half is nine dirhams and a half and
5a quarter dirham for the maintenance of thy wife, viz. bt. al-Qarīri al-ʿAyni al-ʿAlawiyyi
6Written by Hibatallāh b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz with his hand on the seven
