1بسم ولى الاحسان‬‬
2يوخذ على بركة الله وعونه
3جز نطرون وجز شب يمانى
4وجز زبد بحر يصحن جيد ويوخد
5نشادر يعمل على زيبق البيض
6ويعمل فى قنينة ويعلق فى الشمس
7ويمخض فى النهار دفعتين تلاتة
8حتى ينحل ويصير ما ويسقى به الحوايج
9المذكورة يومين مقدار ما يشربوا
10ويعمهم في قدرة وتودعهم نار قوية
11يوم وليلته واخرجهم تجد هم كلهم
12ابيض الحق منه القصدير وتبتـه فى
13فى النار الزبل ويخرج فى قوام الفضة
14فى اللون والصلابة والله الموفق
15الوقية القصدير لها نصف وقية

1In the name of the Author of favour
2[Let there be taken] with the blessing of God and His help
3a part of natron a apart of alum of Yemen
4and a part of meerschaum. Let it be well ground, and let there be taken
5sal ammoniac. It shall be put on mercury of eggs
6And put in a phial and suspended in the sun
7and churned in the daylight twice or three times
8till it melts and liquefies and with it there shall be watered the objects
9mentioned for two days to the amount that they will imbibe.
10They are then to be put in a large pot and placed on a fierce fire
11for a day and the subsequent night. Then take them out when you will find them all
12White. Introduce the tin, and let it remain for a night
13on a fire of dung (?). It will come out in the condition of silver
14in colour and hardness. And God is the guide
15An ounce of tin requires half an ounce of the elixir described
