4on Phamenoth tenth, in the thirteenth indiction,

6Aurelius Iakob, whose father is Kostantios and whose mother is
7Maria, a boatman of Syene, (space) to Aurelia Mariam
8daughter of Allamon?, her mother being Tapia, originating
9from the same Syene, my spouse under God,
10greetings. I, the aforesaid Iakob, acknowledge through
11this my written security, that I have
12and owe to you for the agreed upon
13marriage gift of yours genuine gold,
14three solidi, in the weight of Syene, i.e., gold, 3 solidi in the weight of Syene, which
15aforementioned gold solidi, three in the weight
16of Syene, I am ready to provide to you whenever
17you may wish, without delay, free of interest, at my own
18risk and by means of my assets,
19which are both mortgaged to you and encumbered,
20until repayment and satisfaction of the abovecited
21debt, without any postponement or
22sophistry. And for your security I have had made
23(this) security, which is valid and warranted wherever brought forward,
24with the signature of the one signing on my behalf.
25And having been questioned, I have expressed acknowledgment and executed (the note) †.

27from Syene, the aforementioned, have had the security drawn up
28for gold, three solidi in the weight of Syene,
