State of Preservation	The papyrus consists of several fragments: The two biggest fragments join up; one supplies the upper half of the lines, the other one the lower half. Large holes are in the center. Although two fragments cannot join, their positioning to the right of the other joined fragments is clear. The height of this object is complete; the width is incomplete.
Comments on Object	There are traces of around ten creases that indicate that the letter was closed starting from the bottom.

State of Preservation (Text)	There are several damaged sections with text loss in the center of the letter. The beginning of the letter is lost and the first three preserved lines are heavily damaged.

Specialities in Writing Direction	Date and addressee were written in horizontal lines; the letter itself was composed in vertical lines (columns). The scribe forgot to mention a name in line 9, so he added it later. Due to space constraints, the name was written horizontal.
Comments on Text Layout	In contrast to the letter, date and name of the addressee were written in another direction. In addition, a black line separates the date from the other lines. The name of the adressee is under the date and above the first lines of the letter. The end of the letter was not written at the beginning of line 18, but in the lower part of this line and so near the end of line 17. All lines of the letter start at the same height; the line spacing and the width of the quadrats are irregular.
