Comments on Text |
Of this parcel of seven family letters, six were addressed by three individuals to members of their family at Syene and Luxor. Four letters were sent to Syene, all of which send greetings to temples in Syene (the temples of Bethel and the Queen of Heaven, Banit, and Nabu). All six letters were written by the same scribe, probably from the same papyrus roll, one after another in the order arranged in TAD2.1-2.6. |
