Summary of Content This appears to be 2 private letters (perhaps official, unknown since the letter is only partially preserved) written on the same papyrus, a letter and its response. Both letters address a transaction involving 10 asses.
Comments on Text This appears to be 2 private letters (perhaps official, unknown since the letter is only partially preserved) written on the same papyrus, a letter and its response. The first letter addresses a transaction involving 10 asses, and is written on the recto, of which 7 lines remain. The second letter responds to the inquiry of the first, beginning on the verso in direction perpendicular to the writing on the recto, and continuing in the margins of the recto, also perpendicular to the writing of the first letter, with one line to in the right margin and one line in the left margin. The line in the left margin of the recto finishes halfway (approx. 4 cm) into the fragment.
