Summary of Content Receipt of Ulpius Cerealis, tax farmer of the Sacred Gate of Syene, through an unknown scribe, who might also have written OGL 527. The tax might be geometria phoinikonon, since the payment is made "on account of", which usually occurs in geometria receipts. The 3rd tax year mentioned in l. 5, then, should be the year of the harvest, the date of the receipt will be from year 4 of Marc Aurel and Verus.
Location of Composition Aswan / Syene Upper Egypt, 1st nome Egypt (Certainty: high)
