Inks and Pigments carbon ink polychrome black and red
Range of Preservation (Text) incomplete
State of Preservation (Text) Group of 100+ small fragments, many of which are inscribed. An examination of a sample of 20 fragments shows that the writing is consistently Late Period Hieratic. The relatively small size of the fragments precludes a reading of more than a few signs and perhaps a word here and there. Their size and fragmented state make it difficult to determine if they all or even some of them belong to one text or which if any belong to another papyrus.
Script, Primary Hieratic
Language, Primary Middle Egyptian
Comments on Handwriting At least one fragment is from a medical text containing rubrics.
